CHAPTER 9: FINALLY!!!

I came to know what I felt

I released..

"What happened?" Zayn asked.. Worriedly.. Holding my face with both hands.. trying to look me in the eyes.. That day.. His eyes were shining brighter than ever.. His smile, suddenly became the most important thing to me in this whole world... Did I fall for him?

"Mona???" Zayn snapped me out of thoughts.. "What happened?"

"Han? I'm... Missing Komal!" I said

"Just that?" He shouted... "You scared the hell out of me.." .. I hugged him again.... Feeling secured and protected.. Komal's voice was in my head.. 'SOMEDAY, SOMEONE IS GONNA COME AROUND AND HOLD YOU NEAR' I hugged him even tighter..

"It's OK..." he said holding me tighter...

"Thanks for comforting me" I said..

"Shut up!" He scolded me.. "Let's go! Idiot!!"....  I smiled... Every step, he was taking.. Every word, he was saying, were leaving a deep, golden mark in my heart... I smiled

"Are you mad?" Zayn snapped me out of my thoughts.. Again..

"What?" I asked

"Why are you smiling to yourself..?" He asked teasingly.. and laughed at me.. I rolled my eyes.. To hide my self from blushing and to hide my feelings for him...

           That's true.. A boy and a girl can never stay friends... Somewhere, sometime, either one of them will fall in love with the other...  So did I... 

                     We had breakfast.. Zayn sat next to me.. As usual.. but this time, the feeling was different.. The person I hated once became the person I loved... What was happening to me.. I mean every thing he did seemed to be adorable..

"What happened cuttie pie?" Zayn asked me sitting on the sofa in front of my bed, snapping me out of my crazy thoughts.. I smiled for no apparent reason..

"I know you more than any one.. But today.." He paused.. "I don't understand..."

"What do you mean?" I asked and giggled

"I mean..." He paused.. "You were crying this morning and now..... You're smiling every little while?"

      I started laughing..

"What??" He smiled..

"Oh Zayn.. You're so adorable.." I said unintentionally..

"Well.. I know I am.." He laughed..

"You're mad!!" I laughed

"Thank you cuttie pie.." He said and winked at me... He continued, "You know Mona, I have a secret.. I want to share it with you... and I also want your advice"

"Finally!!!" I said after I heard the word 'Advice' we both laughed.. "What secret?"

"Umm.." He swallowed..

"Tell me..." I said

"You know....." He paused as we heard Niall calling him.. he listened to him.. looked at me and smiled.. more like blushed... so adorable..

"Umm.. I'll tell you tomorrow.. You go to sleep.. Good night... Take care.." He said, smiled and left... Leaving me puzzled..
